As I’ve embarked on this journey of sharing my perspective, whether that be on video or in my words, sometimes the message comes in crystal clear and, as the heavens part and the sun breaks through the clouds, the words just flow from my tongue and fingers like a beautiful symphony. Other times? well… I feel like a sputtering engine, barely chugging along.
Despite the fumbling and bumbling – here I am, ready to make a fool of myself once more. I must be a masochist, or I’ve come to see that courage, growth, and becoming greater is a daily practice.
Everyday you do the thing despite the fear & doubt, despite the criticism or judgement, despite the humiliation and looking foolish, despite not really knowing how to, despite failing, despite being alone.
One thing I know for sure: Magical things happen when we’re willing to be brave, show up, and do the thing. Even if that magical thing means you’ve been able to prove to yourself that fear tried to stop you and you told it to kiss your ass.
To our growth,
Jean.
