  1. Commitment & consistency with a habit builds confidence!

Although doesn’t have to do with gratitude but the act itself, it is worth mentioning!
In anything you do or any goal you are trying to achieve, consistency is the secret sauce that makes the impossible, possible. That makes you seem like you’ve got the golden touch, but in actuality you just show up and do the work every single day.

For so long I have balked at the notion of consistency, because it is bloody difficult and maybe I believe I am so special that I can forego it. Ha! Not.

Truthfully we are very consistent, but its usually an unconscious choice and with things that may or may not help us in our development. Maybe we are consistent with our negative self talk, with skipping out on taking our vitamins, with avoiding our finances, etc. Guilty of all those personally…

As soon as I follow through on one positive habit though in the long term, it creates a cascading effect. It creates self belief and empowerment because if you can do it with this, well why can’t you do it with something else?

It becomes this positive loop that builds and sustains momentum until one day you realize you’ve paid off all your debt, are in the best shape of your life, love and accept yourself unconditionally, and wake up everyday knowing life is a blessing.

And it all started with just saying one thing you are grateful for everyday.
