A mentor of mine said recently, “Travel light and be a light.”
It made reflect on on all the things I believe I need to bring with me in the next season of my life and it made me realize there are things I am carrying that are not meant to go with me.
Belief systems that are limiting and won’t allow me to realize my potential, places that gave me an environment to learn and apply but now I’ve outgrown, and people who were once pivotal in my becoming but have now drifted away.
It is easy to get attached, but I know for myself that every time I’ve been willing to let go of it all and travel light it has freed me up and given me an opportunity to receive with open arms.
It has allowed me to focus on shining my light and living in my purpose, instead of being weighed down by all the baggage.
To our growth,
Jean.
