As I huffed and puffed during my workout today, there was one thought that came to me that gave me just enough energy to push through. It was this:
A season of success is always preceded by a season of discomfort, of growth, of stretching yourself beyond your current limits, of healing even deeper than you’ve already done, of learning new skills & failing miserably at them, at putting yourself out there & looking like a fool, and of showing up anyway and getting it done.
As I performed my lunges and squats, sweat dripping down my face, I found comfort in knowing that I am ensuring a season where my harvest will be bountiful and beautiful – in every aspect and area of my life – simply because I am willing to get just a tiny bit gritty.
Be brave and lean in, my friend!
Your success is just around the corner.
To our growth,
Jean.
